Stimulus Plan increases Tax Credit from $500 to $1,500 maximum |

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
The bill essentially extends the current tax credit provisions for one year through December 31, 2010, the $500 lifetime cap is eliminated and replaced with an aggregate cap of $1,500 in the case of property placed in service after December 31, 2008 and prior to January 1, 2011. These changes are effective for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2008. For complete details, click here.
